Common questions

Frequently asked questions

Does Medicare work with Uganda's National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS)?

Yes. Medicare is being updated to support NHIS claims processing as the scheme rolls out. It already handles NSSF and private insurance claims management.

Can multiple departments use Medicare simultaneously?

Yes. Medicare is multi-user and multi-department by design. OPD, pharmacy, lab, maternity, billing, and administration all work in their own modules simultaneously.

What happens to our patient data if we stop subscribing?

Your patient data belongs to your facility. You receive a full database export in standard format at any time. We do not delete data on subscription cancellation — you get 90 days to retrieve it.
